Case Study

  • When big is better

    Artic_onBarge

Reducing the number of truck movements is one way of improving efficiencies and being more environmentally responsible

In Blenheim Allied concrete uses both an articulated truck as well as 10 wheelers to achieve this.

Recently a 500 tonne barge transported Allied Concrete to Onahau bay in Queen Charlotte Sound. When you consider the distance and time involved in getting to the site the larger trucks provided a quicker and more efficient delivery which benefited all involved.
