CONCRETE³ SUSTAINABILITY AWARD 2009
The Sustainability Awards provide architects, designers, engineers and/or industry with the opportunity to submit a concrete based product, project or initiative, substantially completed within the past three years, that demonstrates sustainability in either the production or use of concrete.

NZ STANDARD 3104:2003 - CONCRETE PRODUCTION
The NZRMCA Audit Scheme operates to audit its members ready mix concrete plants as defined in New Zealand Standard 3104: 2003 - Concrete Production. The scheme is certifies to ISO9001 and undergoes external validation. In 2010 there were a total of 166 plants in the audit scheme and 14 were awarded certificates of excellence. The 9 Allied Concrete plants to be recognised were; Nelson, Blenheim, Levin, Normanby, Upper Hutt, Rotorua, Whakatane, Whangarei and Penrose.
