ConcreteNZ Nauhria Awards
Representatives from Allied Concrete attended the ConcreteNZ Nauhria Awards to celebrate the best and brightest in the construction industry!
Allied Concrete hosted customers at the inagrual ConcreteNZ Nauhria Awards where we were thrilled to be able to showcase the fantastic work our teams have been completing nationally within the construction industry. Alongside a great evening, we directly received the following two awards:
Excellence in Concrete Landscapes | For the concrete we supplied to our customer Bradford Building at Opuke Thermal Pools in Methven. Well done to our team out of Ashburton, for delivering this.
Excellence in Concrete Innovation | Nasser Almesfer and Opinder Saggi collected the Innovation Award on behalf of the company for our low carbon concrete solution, ecrete. The introduction of low carbon concrete using alternative materials to cement is industry leading in NZ and a glimpse into our future.
Allied Concrete was the concrete supplier to the overall winning Project – Pacifica Tower which also bagged the award for Commercial Concrete.
Other projects from various parts of the country were well represented with the Waimea Dam collecting the Infrastructure Award and C1 (an earlier part of the Auckland CRL project) collecting the Remediation and Reuse Award. In fact, it was the only award in Concrete Residential where we did not supply the concrete! It was a good chance to show our customers and other stakeholders what we are all collectively about.
