Leading representatives from the New Zealand Construction Industry gathered in Auckland recently for the annual New Zealand Institute of Building Awards.

Established in 1994, the awards recognize the individual achievements of a broad range of construction industry professionals. The awards include a wide variety of categories, from cost-based projects, innovation, health & safety, collaboration and the Supreme Award for outstanding performance to name a few.

Allied Concrete are proud to continue our partnership at this year’s awards, supporting the Projects $25M-50M Award, presented to individuals or teams who have led the delivery of a commercial, industrial or residential project to the specified value.

Allied Concrete Auckland Commercial Sales Manager, Steve Urquhart, presented the Allied Concrete Projects $25M-50M Highly Commended Award to AJ Spicer from Hawkins for his work on the new Auckland Council building.

Steve also presented Nick Morris and Ben Whaanga from LT McGuiness with the Allied Concrete Projects $25M-50M Excellence Award for their outstanding performance managing the rebuild of the Charles Fergusson Tower building, located in Wellington. The pair also went on to win the NZIOB Supreme Award.

Allied Concrete would like to congratulate all of this year's category winners and entrants.
