Engineered Concrete Solutions
In today's competitive construction environment the need for superior concrete performance has never been greater.
Engineered Concrete Solutions (ECS) are designed to meet the exacting demands of specifying engineers who are seeking a superior outcome for their clients. Modern materials and technology allows the design of concretes that are more durable and longer lasting than their conventional equivalents.
The use of a concrete mix specifically engineered for a particular environment can dramatically improve the long-term performance of the concrete at a low cost premium. ECS allows the specifying engineer to assess his options and allows the specification of an appropriate concrete mix. ECS meet and exceed the requirements of New Zealand Standards.
The selection and supply of performance concrete needs to be complemented with correct handling and finishing. Published guides on placing; vibrating, curing, and formwork are an important component of Engineered Concrete Solutions. Poor placing can seriously compromise concrete quality.
Concrete is often the first material on site and concrete elements are often the hardest working in a finished structure. Engineered Concrete Solutions offers the opportunity to improve the concrete outcome - during construction and for the life of the structure.
