Ministry of Environment approve funding for Allied

The Ministry for the Environment has approved funding for Allied Concrete and their initiative on using crushed glass as a partial substitute for sand. Work is already under away on the Allied Plant in Wellington to allow this change. The Allied Plants in Invercargill and Wanaka will be be altered to receive the crushed glass early in 2012.
