Conslab – award winning customers
The New Zealand Concrete Society’s Concrete Awards were presented at the recent Concrete Industries Conference in Rotorua. Winner of the Technology Award and the overall Concrete Award were the floor slabs for the new K-Mart distribution warehouse in Auckland.
Designed and constructed by Conslab the judges commented that the internal post tensioned floor and external steel fibre pavement illustrated the exceptional level of concrete design and construction excellence that the Concrete Society demands. Of course a major factor in an excellent finish was the consistent concrete supplied from Allied Concrete Penrose. 2000m3 was supplied for the internal slab and 2400m3 for the external container storage slab.
