When a search engine performs a search it looks for any of the words you have asked it to search for.

For example in the following search request: “concrete curing” the search engine would look for the word “concrete” and the word “curing”.

As this site is about concrete the above search request will likely result in a list of all pages in the site.

Try to:

• Keep your search requests to one key word
• Think about the topic of the whole site and avoid words that are likely to appear on every page.
• Type all searches in lowercase to ensure you get all incidences of the word regardless of capitalisation.
